nam265 Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 Here's the case,In windows Xp Pro, i was able to replace the original "About Windows" tag via Resource Tuner with some cool personalized tag of mine. However, it can't be done on WinMCE, so i guess the explorer.exe and msgina.dll files are not related.Plz if anyone can find out which file responsible for the tag, post it here.I really appearciated (one step away from perfect personalized WinMCE)THX
Martijn Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 (edited) Windows XP MCE, Tablet PC and Starter Edition use the following file for the about window rather than msgina:C:\windows\system32\winbrand.dllBitmap 1000 > Tablet PC EditionBitmap 1001 > Tablet PC EditionBitmap 1004 > Media Center EditionBitmap 1005 > Media Center EditionBitmap 1010 > Starter EditionBitmap 1011 > Starter EditionBitmap 1101 > Tablet PC EditionBitmap 1103 > Media Center EditionBitmap 1105 > Starter EditionBitmap 1200 > Tablet PC Edition (large logo)Bitmap 1201 > Media Center Edition (large logo)Bitmap 1202 > Starter Edition (large logo)Bitmap 1301 > Tablet PC Edition (Start menu side bar)Bitmap 1302 > Media Center Edition (Start menu side bar)Bitmap 1303 > Starter Edition (Start menu side bar)Bitmap 1400 > Starter Edition (A big logo, kinda like the one you see after the Windows Installation completes (where it detects display settings))Bitmap 1401 > Windows XP (A big logo, kinda like the one you see after the Windows Installation completes (where it detects display settings)) Edited October 24, 2005 by Martijn
