Kelly Keyboard Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 (edited) hey alli made an awesome xp sp2 disc w/ all the post sp2 hotfixes slipstreamed into the disc using nlite (v1.0 RC1)however when i go to add/remove programs once windows has been installed, and tick the "show programs and updates box", there are no hotfixes listed1) why is this? on one of my earlier custom discs it shows the hotfixes there2) how do i know if these hotfixes have been installed? is there any plance in windows where i can check to see if there are installed or not? boooggy Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 1.cause the hotfixes are slipstreamed and using nlite all hotfixes are direct integrated so they dont appear on add/remove.2. here's a toy i like: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/wul.htmlalso u can run qfecheck.exe to see what updates are installed.....for more information about qfecheck use search...
