RPC server unavailable

Hello!

I have a problem when I try to install ati drivers, as they don't install. "RPC server is unavailable"

I'm not able to install .NET framework 1.1 neither...

I've nlited (RC1) my WindowsXP pro sp2 with the attached last_session, and integrated:

Post-SP2 Update Pack 1.3.1

Update Pack WMP10 Addon

Update Pack Addons Full

What have I removed that i shouldn't had to? Or is there a way to fix that?

Check that installed windows\setuperr.log file and tell us what's in it.

edit: Tried it and it was because you disabled DCOM Server Process Launcher

I have the same error..

DCOM doesnt start... as in it says its starting.. but it never does

do i reinstall windoze?

dafreaking, test in virtual first, if the vm runs, and reset all services to default if you played with it...if not it can be anything.
