cableghost Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 I seemed to have tried every possible fix w/ no success. Here's my issue...Upon uninstalling an application from the Remove dialog, I cannot then remove another app until I restart my pc. If I don't restart, I receive the error about no installer could be found, do you want to delete the entry from the list, etc....It appears I have no problems installing applications.----------------Scott
InTheWayBoy Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 I think it does that so you don't get caught with your pants down...some installers delete things, while others revert to previous versions. So in order to make sure you don't get the wrong version, you'll need to reboot before running another MSI uninstall. A regular EXE uninstall should work fine though...
