Coolsights2000 Posted October 15, 2005 Share Posted October 15, 2005 What is Encoding type used for reg file W2KI'm trying to import some register files while installing W2K but the issue is when I go to merge the file during W2K installation it whines and says something aboutthey are not register script files ...What is funny I have other pre-made reg file that I am merging fromthe same folder and they work fine If I merge them after W2K finishes the installation they work fine....I even added the register settings by using the applet control panel in IE then I exported the register informatiom and it still kicked them out ...........I'm pulling my hair out........Mac!P.S.The four Encoding options areANSIUnicodeUnicode big endianUTF-8 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
