Custom Install Directories

Recommended Posts

Hi my names Vert and I would like to know if someone could tell me how to get my programs to install to a different directory instead of the default directory.

Thank you in advanced. I am a newbie so any help would be appreciated. I would like to get my programs to install to their own directories so its easier for me to handle them.

thak you

I found a way to change the default install directory in windows so that all of the wpi apps will install

to C:\program files\active applications. Its a start.

Heres the link

If You Instal A Microsoft service pack after you change this setting it will install itself to the active applications directory. so change the default install path back so it will go where its suppose to instead of where all your apps are installed.

P.S Thanks for help
