dirtwarrior Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Windows has the following and I did some research but not clear on what it means or if I need itntoskrnl=non acpi processor kernelntkrpamp=acpi multiprocessor kernelntkrnlmp=non acpi multiprocessor kernelntkrnlpa=acpi processor kernelDo I need all the above in the cd? What if any ill effects when each are removed? Any performance gains by removing each?
Daemonforce Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 I wouldn't remove them. I would edit them........................Come on...An NT OS kernel that can change bootscreen appearance upon ACPI/MPS detection...That could be fun. Especially in an environment with several unique computers using the same OS kernel.
dirtwarrior Posted October 6, 2005 Author Posted October 6, 2005 OK cause I plan on putting a different logo in it. Some of these files are also in driver cab.If I delete these from driver cab do I need to edit driver inf?And for the logo change do I need to put the logo in all 4 files for it to work?

dirtwarrior Posted October 6, 2005 Author Posted October 6, 2005 Yes, I plan on putting my own logo in but unsure which file need to be edited or deleted
