realized Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Can i have two domains in the same directory (or "entire directory") if one is SBS and one is 2003 standard?I have two locations..locatio1: 2003 SBSlocation2: 2003 standardVPN between the two, both have diffrent domain names, and subnets..To make administration a bit eaiser, i would like to see everything on the remote network when i search the ENTIRE DIRECTORY, or have the ability to search that domain as well..
chilifrei64 Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Multiple domain functionality is not available in SBS2003 or 2000.. that is why it is Small Business.Now.. both machines can be part of the SAME domain. SBS being the domain controller(no other option)
At0mic Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 I just use public folders and assign security rights to whoever needs access to the calenders. There's about 8 shared calenders in there at the moment all with different people being able to access each one.
