Final release should be around late October.

Actually, since beta2 itself, it was already said that unless any more (rare) bugs are found, its going to be renamed as final. In other words, there's going to be hardly any difference between Beta2,RC1, & final.

So its very close to release.

Its beginning to be nice now, actually - its fast, looks decent, and beats MS office on a few features (export to PDF, flash).
