I am trying to find a 108mbit mimo compatible mini-pci adapter for my Asus V6V laptop/notebook but not having much luck. I have never seen a mini-pci adapter on a manufacturers website's product page so where would I find info about the cards they are making etc.

Does anyone have any info on how I might go about tracking one down, my laptop has the standard intel 54mbit card, the other machines in my house use netgear mimo PCI cards and are substatially quicker when it comes to copying files around etc

am I right in thinking that if I find such a card I can just open up the laptop and swap the cards around?
