I have created a unattended version of windows xp with sp2 and office xp pro with front page im going to be burning it to a dvd so i have a heck of alot of space free Is there any way i can put the sims delux on the xpcd to install it when it installs windows?

and i also need to put foxfire on there too.

Any ideas.

Neatan

you should parition your hard drive and install ur games on the 2nd partition so that when you reinstall windows on ur 1st partition, the games wont be uninstalled.

Thanks.I never thought of doing that i will do.I have to install xp alot as it always seems to get full of spyware n crap so that would be handy. Thanks again

also if u partition it, you can just keep ur data on the 2nd or even a 3rd part like i have, so that you dont need to burn ur files to a cd or whatever you do.

...of course, the sims (or any app/game for that matter) will only work like this if it doesn't add files to other places other than its installation dir AND if it doesnt make changes/additions to the registry.

neatan, you're better off making one of these (presumably it would be fairly easy to do without certain exp packs - i didn't get a chance to read it fully - soz about that):

All you have to remember is that MOST of the apps and games out there, DO place files in other folders like the windows-folder or the system(32) folder. so for most games/apps it does NOT work.
