Peer To Peer XP backup with Veritas

I am trying to setup peer to peer backup using Veritas without much success.

Has anyone achieved this? It says it can but I can find no information about the settings required in XP and software configuration.

to make this work.. you need a couple of things

one computer with the tape backup device(or backup to disk) central "backup server" this is where all your data is going to be backed up to

all your remote computers will need the remote agent..

you may have to configure credentials for your backup selections on the remote computers if you are not on a domain..

now that i think of it.. this is really all you should need.... in the backup job you can specify resource credentials for each selection you make.. my guess is since this is peer to peer.. this is where it is failing

Will try to install remote agent locally on the machine I intend to back up as I dont have a great deal of luck doing it remotely.
