I'm just wandering what i should buy for a new mp3 player.

Your comparing two different devices? The comparison should be the Ipod mini and Ipod nano? And the choice should be obviouse?

The Ipod mini and nano both use microchips for storage and therefore more durable and use less power.

The Ipod uses a hard drive for storage and therefore can be damaged easier.

The choice is a personal preferance of size?

I personal like everything bigger! Like the ARCHOS 100GB Mobile Digital Video Recorder

No Apple products compete?

The iPod mini still uses a hard drive for storage. ;)

Man... you're all about the polls, aren't you?

As for your question, that all depends.

How much music do you have?

Would you use the iPod (nano or otherwise) for data storage?

How long are you going to be away from a power outlet?

Simply asking others "what should I get" without explaining what it is that you want isn't going to get you the best product. For me, I've got 22GB of music... so neither of those would suit me very well. In the end, you have to decide for yourself.
