Hey, let me start of by sayin this is one of the most helpful forums for windows xp x64!

but neways, the problem, basicly i copied all the mp3 files from my old computer (running windows xp home) to my new computer (running windows xp x64) and now the mp3 files have no id3v2 tags or metadata nemore but if i copy the mp3 files back to my old computer, the metadata appears agen so i know the problem lies with windows xp x64 :S...if it helps, the music is on a different harddrive to the one windows xp x64 is installed on.

i'v added a screen shot:

M$ cut of this feature on x64. What you can do is edit mp3 in WMP10, where you you have automatically added songs to library, right click on any of them and you'll see "advanced tag editor", from there you can edit names etc.

I too am very disappointed that this feature was removed. How come the file manager allows you to select the ID3 tag columns if it doesn't work? Does anyone know if there is a way to enable it?
