Unread emails on login page

for some reasons, on my windows login page i get 45 unread emails from my brother msn account....how can i get rid of this or change it? i cant figure it out, played with my winodws .ney passport, messenegr etc...

login as your brother, then start » run and type

• REG ADD HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UnreadMail /v MessageExpiryDays /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
  

then click OKand log out again.
