Hi Guys,

I hope this is the right forum.

I have searched and cannot find the answer to my question.

I want to execute a batch file using "scheduled tasks", and

I want to prevent the "windows console" from becoming visible.

I have tried adding a "-b" (background) to the end of the command line, but the console still flashes up on the screen for a second.

Is there a way to totally prevent the "windows console" from becoming visible.

Thanks,

Gary

Steve,

Thanks for the quick reply. :thumbup

I will look at both and decide which to use.

I can't believe there isn't a way in DOS to hide the console window when running a script or batch job.

Thanks again,

Gary
