March 10, 200323 yr Hello,I'm new to this board and I would like to add a small interesting tweak for all people who usually don't dig into their registries!Go to www.speedguide.netClick the DSL-button in the left corner and it will guide you to a page where you can download up to 4 small registry-patches.Install them, reboot ur PC and experience a much faster DSL!If you want to reset the older settings the same page provides reset-patches also.They also have a lot to read about tweaks in general!Greetings!
March 11, 200323 yr Author I'm a Tweak-junk and many times I got into trouble with tweaking unsafely.This is a safe way to tweak, and concerning the rest of that webpage...I promised myself not to read it cause before I know it I'm trying out 'advanced'-things lol
March 13, 200323 yr Would this work on networks as well??if its a private network from home it will help but if your main portal to the internet is based at a PC you can not apply these patches to then no.
August 21, 200322 yr its a nice site.. only thing is i just need dsl now lol w00tSpeedguide also works on dial-up in case you're wondering. At the moment, I'm still stuck on dial-up (wahhh!) but due to tweaks here and there, I now achieve standard d/l rates of about 12KB/s. Makes me happy !
