BoardBabe Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Im a bit confused at the MSI switches. (reading the /?)Should I in general for .msi files use '/qn' or '/quiet /norestart'? (I would like the installation completly silent, no user interface or progress). And what is the difference between using '/qn' and '/quiet /norestart'? Please clear this up for me... thnx
Martin Zugec Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Native switches are /q + something...For example /qn means absolutely silent, /qb means Basic interface etc...
BoardBabe Posted September 13, 2005 Author Posted September 13, 2005 That will show a progress bar though, right?
Martin Zugec Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Yep... If you dont want to show it, use /qn
