PCMCIA card compatible with router?

So today i was digging through some stuff. i found a Netgear 802.11b 16-bit PCMCIA card model MA401. Link, i was wondering what router should i get since i will put this into my moms laptop. Would the Linksys WRT54G work with it? im not really an expert on routers and stuff.

it should work, the card is b and the router is b/g so why wouldnt it?
