lylo Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Oh my f***ing god! I just downloaded the demo of it this morning (151mb, nice small file size) and... HOW THE HELL DO YOU PLAY THIS GAME?!This is like... the toughest thing ever! Whether its taking corners, coming out of them or just trying to keep my bike in a straight line, I cannot do it! And I'm spending more time off the bike as I fall off it than I actually am racing on the road! I've never had an interest in Motorbike based games but I thought I'd try this out for the hell of it, and I do think I could enjoy this game, but after years of playing car based racing games, this is entirely new to me and I simply cannot perform on it whatsoever lol!http://www.gamedaily.com/gp/dlexe.asp?pack...urcelist=&cid=5This location seemed to work in getting the demo with no problem, if any of you have tried or are willing to try this out, let me know how it works out for you, cause man... THIS IS HARD!
ironfist241 Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 This game is quite realistic from what ive heard, so i would basically assume its cos youre used to driving games and the common approach of thundering into corners with too much speed, but using a powerslide to scrub that speed off and still come out smiling - no shame in that however simply put this wont work with bikes also note that you cant accelerate or brake much while leant over, so no braking as you lean into the bend and dont jump on the gas after it until youre upright again.
lylo Posted September 9, 2005 Author Posted September 9, 2005 Well I've played on it a bit more and I decided rather than try the GP race again, I'll just try and gain some basic skill on the Time Trial mode, after a few laps I managed to gain a time on the Le Mans circuit of 1m32s which is still the slowest time on the leaderbooard, so still alot more practise needed heh If anyone has downloaded the demo or even bought the full game, please post your times up here, lets get a bit competetive in the forums huh
