Which compression is better to cab driver.cab

LZX or MSZIP ?

I get better compression with LZX it is about 1/2 the size of MSZIP, is it just as usable?

If I want to compress a .exe to a .ex_ do I do it the same way?

LSX compresses much more with it's algorithm then to MSZip. The trade off is it may take more time to decompress with LZX, but you save on the size of the cab file.

Multiple files require a ddf file for MakeCab to compress them. A single file can be compressed with MakeCab in a single commandline.

I found a program call cab-pack. I used win rar to expand so I could edit

I used cab-pack to compress it. When I compress LZX it goes from 326 meg to about 64 meg. when compressed usind MSZIP it goes from 326 meg to 128 meg.

Sorry about double post I am pressed for quick answer.

Which one is best type of compression for driver.cab?
