stop IE typed address disappearing?

hey guys, got an annoying issue here, only me uses the laptop, i notice every time i close browser or reboot, my internet explorer typed urls keep disappearing so i gotta keep typing them again whenever i need to go to a website, regardless of what site it is, its proper annoying...any one know how to stop this happening? cheers guys i also notice the RUN box also clears itself too but not too bothered about that, any answers on this would be sweet, cheers

When on-line > top tool bar > Tools > Internet options > General tab > History section > what is the number of days to keep History set at? If its a low number of days, set it high.

You might also have a program that cleans this info out periodically, so be aware of that.

You seem to be relying on typing in the address of sites that you visit frequently. If that is the case, then add those sites to your Favorites by clicking on Favorites in the top tool bar and Add to Favorites; add them by themselves or add them into folders.

set at 20 days, also its a fresh install, i believe it must be a setting i missed in nlite but not 100% sure, thanks

Could be a build-in windows function.

Download TweakUI from MS site. There you have an option from explorer to delete stuff on exit as i recall.

Or maybe it has something to do with autocomplete option in explorer ...?
