September 2, 200520 yr I have an incremental backup of the C partition to be run on a scheduled basis.What happens when the partition containing the image files becomes full? Do I have to manually delete some of the incremental images that have been created in order to create free space, or does Acronis automatically start overwriting previously created images?

I think that it does delete the oldest images, somewhat like System Restore deletes the oldest restore points.There's no real point in restoring to a point 2 years ago, now is there...

September 5, 200520 yr Acronis TI8 is a great program, but not so much for inc. backup's as it records sector changes of the partition. If you install windows and all your apps then create an image it will be x size. Now do a full defrag and create an inc. image. You will see that the inc. image will be almost as big as your base image.Since you seem to be backing up often, you might want to consider a program that is file based for regular backups (you could continue backing up to C: and it would make sense) and use TI8 on occasion to backup everything and keep a few images ready to go in the Recovery Zone.
