realized Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 (edited) I have my policy as the following: password age: 30 daysThis network has been up for a few months, it has yet to force a user to change his/her password.SBS 2003 PREMIUM edition with XP clients.this Group Policy is under DEFAULT DOMAIN POLICY [COMPUTER.DOMAIN.LOCAL] Policy / Computer Configuration / Windows Settings / Security Settings / Account Policies / Password Policy. All is defined.I should add that this is defined under "Default Domain Policy" and these settings seem not to to be set elseware i.e "Small business Server Client Computer or under "Small business Server Domain Password Policy", is this my problem? What is the diffrence? Wouldn't the default domain policy apply it to the entire network? Edited September 2, 2005 by realized
chilifrei64 Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Use group policy management console and run the group policy results wizard and make sure it is applying to right users in the right placeand yes.. default domain applies to the entire domain(unless security filtering is defined or the policy is not enabled.
