muiz Posted September 3, 2005 Share Posted September 3, 2005 how do i replace msgina.dlli have to say that i use a shell pack, bricko longhorn pack.the pack changes the msgina.dll.But i want to ad my own.I tried to remove, but windows wont let me.After rename it let me remove it, and replace.But when i try this with runonce it fails.What i tried was rename the file in a command and delete it.And run an sfx with my own msgina.dll afterwards.Any one an idea? HybridShadow Posted September 3, 2005 Share Posted September 3, 2005 Have you got Windows File Protection on?If yes then it will auto replace your with the windows originalFirst copy it toc:\windows\system32\dllcacheand then rename you c:\windows\system32\msgina.dll to msginabackup.dlland then copy the new one into that folder.If it still doesnt work, i dunno? just tried the above first.
