tomars Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Hi, I would like to develop my own Universal Shell using the BricoPack System to create the installer. I know how to patch system files to meet my needs but I dont fancy having to re-do it every time a new system file comes out. With the BricoPack system I would just click update, but I dont know where I could get the tools or the BricoPack installer software to create the pack. Does anyone have any information or links on how I would go about doing this?I checked the bricomix.net website and I think I can understand most of the french (thanks to systran ) but I still cant find any info on making my own pack. Thanks
RBCC Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 DO these allow you to create your own shells from scratch? John
tomars Posted September 1, 2005 Author Posted September 1, 2005 The BricoPack system is not for creating packs, you must do that manually, all it does is provide a way for these packs to be applied to any version of Windows XP.I found out the Installer system isnt available but I know the basics of how it works now, it uses resource hacker with the -modify command to put icons and bmps etc into system files
