xlbo, sorry if I've confused you but the same question is being asked in the Access thread causing confusion there as well.

Yes,This Question about CONDITIONAL FORMATTING of MS Office Suites

Both in Access and in EXCEl,I've the same question

& now,i want to know:

1.How do I change the BackColor based on the value of the Status field? In EXCEl ,More than 4's CONDITIONAL FORMATTING

2.1.How do I change the BackColor based on the value of the Status field? In ACCESS datasheet view (Form) ,More than 4's CONDITIONAL FORMATTING

And,the Col. "Status" is the Judgment basis

Such as:

if The "orange" represents "Hold"

if Status= Hold,then set that Rec.'s BackColor orange...
