LCD driver not installed

Featured Replies

I bought a new Flat Screen Monitor a few days ago...It is the BenQ FP91V.

I install my drivers from CD (pyron's method) and for my old 19" CRT monitor that was okay...the driver (just 3 files I tihnk) was detected and used by Windows XP Pro. But the driver of my new flatscreen is not used...It says "Plug & Play Monitor" after installation and I have to install the driver manually. Does anyone know, how I can get the driver working unattendedly? BTW, I now use the DVI Interface of my GeForce 6600GT SLI cards, no longer the old VGA Interface. Could it be, that the driver isn't detected because I use DVI Interface? Pls help.

@Dynaletik:

try installing your monitor using the method i described HERE.

let us know if you get it to work. ;)
