I hav intel 915GAV m/b having Realtek 860 codec, ( intel Azalia HD audio)

on installing x64 xp the sound doesnt work

deice manager shows a problem in microsoft UAA HD Driver

but xp 32bit works perfectly

Why ? x64 says the driver couln't be initialised properly

is there any workaround


Did you download the x64 compatible drivers for your devices? Your 32-bit drivers will not work under x64 Windows.
