Anyone From Germany?

My mom is going blind, due to diabetes. There is a synthetic vitamin B1 - (benfotiamine) that has been shown to block all 3 damage pathways in cells lining blood vessels. Here's the story: http://www.katu.com/health/story.asp?ID=54756

It is not available in the US - yet.

I have tried to look up the German Pharmacy's website: http://www.schadow-apotheke.de/ - but bablefish is not too useful and there was no listing for that vitamin (as far as I can tell)

I have been searching the web with no success for hrs. If anyone knows of an outlet to purchase this vitamin please help. Thanks
