Page cannot be displayed

I have Windows XP operating system & I am getting 'Page cannot be displayed' when I connect to the Internet using the Dial Up Connection. I get connected at about 48-50 kbps speed which I think is pretty good for a 56K Modem

The ping results performed give the following result

ping www.att.net -> Couldnot find host... ping request couldnot find host

ping 207.127.135.135 -> send 4 recd 4 lost 0

Any expertise on this issue... waiting for a solution on the above issue

after you connect, go to the command prompt and type ipconfig /all and post the output

sounds to me like a dns issue though.

Like chili said, most likely a dns issue. Be sure that you are being assigned Primary and Secondary DNS servers from you ISP. Try pinging them both and checking tracert.
