Hi All!

I would like to be able to Install Hotfixes and some Applications from a network share during an unattended Windows XP Install.

I haven't found anything specifically about this on here, so I hope someone has some advice for me, or a link to go to for some information.

I just figured I can maintain the Hotfix Folder and an Applications folder on a Shared Network drive where it would be easy to update, and have the unattend go there for the hotfixes/etc.

Any ideas on this?

I get tired of obsoleting my install CDs/DVDs when things change.

I do that :)

I have a batch on my cd which run another batch on my server.

The batch on the server is a modified of WPI (Windows Post-Installation) http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showforum=93

In WPI you can set all command to execute ... for install hotfixes I have created another batch again ;)

I use "net use" command to map the shared to a letter and WPI run fine.

Goodbye.
