PUnitBabyDaddy Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 I am wanting to sell my old laptop on ebay or just by word of mouth in my area. The specs can be found here http://reviews.cnet.com/HP_Compaq_Presario...18.html?tag=tabI bought this new in September 2002 and it is right now back in the Best Buy service center under the extended warranty being completely restored. It needed a new motherboard and dvd/cd-rw drive but they decided to swap out a lot more parts for new ones. Free of charge to me, LoL. Anyhow I'd like some price suggestions please. Preferably a straight price and then maybe a reserve price if I go the ebay route. Thanks!
ripken204 Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 (edited) wow that strange, ur warrenty must be up by now so whare they doing it for free? lolu will only get 100-300 on ebay, i know it sucks and dont argue with me, ive gone through the same thingbest thing do is just to keep it Edited August 14, 2005 by ripken204
PUnitBabyDaddy Posted August 15, 2005 Author Posted August 15, 2005 I purchased the 3 year service plan with it. Next month its up! Good thing I got it in there before it was void. 100-300 and that's it? That sucks...I appreciate the feedback very much. I will however be making 500 cash off this product. One of my younger brother's friends is going off to college and made me the offer. LoL. Guess I'll be getting the better end of the deal!Though if I don't sell and do decide to keep it about how much do notebook dvd+-rw drives run? And would it be worth it to upgrade that way?
ripken204 Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 wow, yes you are! and i actually just checked into some dvd+-rw drives today for mine. what a f***ing coincidence! they will be from 90-105$this is one of the best ive seen so far, dual layer too!http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetai...ductCode=172510
