I like WinRAR, but using the password is wonky. You select password while you are building the archive and give a password, but it does nothing. You have to select "encrypt files" to be able to password-protect the archive. Could be more clear. I don't think 7Zip has this option and I've never used a full version of WinZIP.

I used PowerArchiver for years, but in the last year have switched to WinRAR.

The only thing is, I don't seem to be able to get AVG7 free to work properly with scans. If any one knows how to do this, I would be grateful to know about it.

*Can still 'Right Click' on an archive and choose scan externally ofcourse.
