How to remove bg color on shortcuts?

I want to remove color background on text below icons on desktop in my Windos 2003. I am not cheked "Lock web ithems".

Not sure if 2k3 is same as in XP, but in XP you would go to my computer/ properties / advanced/ performance / visual effects and check "Use drop shadows for icons on desktop"

Yes right click 'my computer' on the desktop then follow the above instructions
