HELP!Vista Can't See My SATA Drive

Featured Replies

Hardware:

CPU: AMD 64 3000+

MOBO: Gigabyte K8T890 + VT8237R

Ram: Kingston 512 DDR400 x 2

HD: WD160G SATA

I've made the floopy with SATA drivers. I can use this floopy to install

both 32/64bit Windows XP Pro (by F6). However Windows Vista 64 won't

see my harddisc and when I tried to "Load Drivers" it didn't take that

floopy either. ("Does not contain drivers etc.")

Anyone knows what should I do?

thx

Easiest suggestion? Find a PATA drive and install to that.

My Mother board supports to set the SATA work in IDE mode rather than Raid Mode, don't know whether if its gonna work.

Vista is a BETA, but Vista is working on XP platform, try some drivers from XP...I sad try...
