BombaTwist Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 hmm, my mobo runs at PC 2100 speed though, with the PC 2700 and PC 3200 ram, they should still run at PC 2100 speeds normally, right?
mjc Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 More memory is always better than faster memory, period.512MB of PC133 would still be much, much better than 256MB PC2700 for nearly every use I can think of, save, for example, running a proprietary OS that never uses more than 256MB.For general windows/desktop use though, you'd see a HUGE benefit from more, slower RAM.
