anyone knows the switches for Windows Messenger 5.1 ?

and can Windows Messenger 5.1 and MSN Messenger 7.0 coexist in the same XP install ?

Yes you can have Windows Messenger and MSN messenger running on the same PC. You will need to decide which, if any, will auto-start when Windows starts.

Why do you need two, unless you are using Live Communications Server or something??

Actually 5.1 is an upgrade. Here's my code:

REG ADD %KEY%\013 /V 1 /D "%cdrom%\install\Messenger\messenger.msi /Q" /f

I'm sure you can figure out how to get what you need from that.
