Tobz Posted January 28, 2003 Share Posted January 28, 2003 well i installed a firewall....and im on a LAN (Local Area Network)and the firewal was shareware and out of date so i couldn't use it.. but it blocked off an IP... or said somethign likeTThe system's IP conflicting with another systems ip, somfing like dat... and now the net doesn't work or mayb this is juz another problem since i can run mirc/msn but not visit websites or cnonect to kazaathe firewall is fully uninstalld, and it goes check the system log..., or contac your sys admin!!! zivan56 Posted January 28, 2003 Share Posted January 28, 2003 Well if you want a firewall that will work, use the built in once in Win2k, its called TCP filtering.According to their site, do this in a console:netwatch /uninstall And reboot.
