Thunderbird import results in strange behaviour

Greetings all!

I recently learned how to manage my Firefox and Thunderbird settings and how to export them to use with my future installations. The firefox installation went on very smoothly thx to LaptoniC's great software, Silence of the Foxes. However, when I tried to export my thunderbird settings and import them into thunderbird, the program gave me a strange behaviour. When I press the get mail button, it doesn't respond at all and acts as if nothing would've ever happend. If I remove the account and create a new one manually, it all works without any problems.

I export the "extensions" folder and the prefs.js file.

What is the cause of this? Am I exporting my settings correctly?
