I NEED YOUR HELP ( I mean anybody who is reading this thread)

open your registry editor and go to

"HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002bE10318}" (without quote)

look inside from 0000 to 000X registry key (X is the number such as 9 or 10) to locate "WAN Miniport (IP)" in windows xp

can you tell me if driverDesc of "WAN Miniport (IP) is in 0009.? if not, what is the number.?

It depends on what is installed in your machine. For me it was in 0006.
