Updating ESCD...

Someone brought in a computer to school today and all that they are getting when loading it up is Updating ESCD... (Wont say success)

All Brand new parts

Pentium 4 3.2ghz

MSI Motherboard (ill update the model number tomorow)

only 256mb DDR ram

no PCI / AGP cards using onboard video

120gb Seagate barracuda

Pioneer 109 Dvd Burner

Please help

ive searched google - forums

google told me that problem with expansion cards but there are none in it

all help will be appreciated

please check the following BIOS Settings:

Update Configuration Data

Plug and Play OS

... and post your settings.
