Select "New" and the default email form opens. Select "HTML" from the drop down menu. Copy and paste the entire web page into the body. Make sure all the pics are hyperlinked properly. Thats it.

Also go to the Microsoft Outlook web site and look at the templates and tutorials.

If the text link(s) do not work then you are not in HTML Mode.

The pictures have to be stored on a internet server (your own server or commercial server).

You could always create a web based template and/or web page in MS Word (Web Layout Mode) and use that as a base. Then select email this page to an email receipient. Again, pictures have to be stored on a server.

Otherwise, download a editable template from the Outlook site where the frames, borders, etc. are embedded (similar to a watermark) and use Word to create text links. The tutorials at the Outlook site will teach you how make your own and then you cae create embedded images.

One email program that a lot of people like is called IncrediMail and it is free. It can do just about everything, http://www.incredimail.com/english/splash.html

Hope this helps.

I understand what you want to do and as I said you have to link to the images, etc on a server (your own or a commercial). Because you said no attachment right.

You see, all those emails are created using an HTML editor or from scratch using notepad or similar. All those images, columns, forms, etc are stored on and linked to a server. The source code is just a simple right-click and view source code.

Since you do want to make an attachment or cannot store the images etc on a server and the idea is to have a HTML based page I see no other options. The emails you describe, citi bank etc, are all linked to a server. Right click the body and select source. You will be presented with the source code. Notice that the code links everything to a server.

I am afraid I have already explained why you cannot do that in an email. Transitioning from one email document to another email document requires two email documents where one is attached to the original. Quite possible as you pointed out in web pages but not possible in email documents. Try to understand the differences between HTML based web pages and HTML email. The tutorials on the page you provided already explain all that in detail by the way.

Ok ... if you wanna make an email that looks exactly like a webpage you can send it directly from frontpage (I figured you were using that) by choosing "Files ---> send". When you do this then you CAN'T use locally stored images! Likes this:

Locally stored image. Won't be displayed:

<img border="0" src="file:///D:/Documents and settings/PurplePhoenix/Documents/My web/download.gif" width="17" height="20">

Image stored on webserver, (fx geocities)

<img border="0" src="http://www.geocities.com/priti/download.gif" width="17" height="20">

If you have java scripts, flash etc. it should also be externaly linked. If you problem is getting some free webspace, say so, there are planty of free web space services.

Hope that helps ...
