Is it possible to disable DEP protection in Win 64bit? I want to disable it because it is causing BSODs when my PC is overclocked. Thanks


With 32bit you could edit the boot.ini file and change

/NoExecute=optin to /NoExecute=AlwaysOff

Haven't tried it for 64bit.

Yes I used "/NoExecute=AlwaysOff" for 32 bit XP, but guess what? It works also on 64 bit XP

Yeah, I've done that from day-one. Works like a charm.
