$OEM Folders Not Copied From XP CD

Hello, Hopefully someone can help.

Ihave slipstreamed sp2 with xp cd and all works fine but when install finishes and

get to first log on get error message cand find C:\updates\updates.cmd

My copy of XP CD had no $oem$ folder on it so i created them as follows:

CD ROOT\I386\$OEM$\$1\UPDATES

And copied all applications i wanted copied to HDD in that location.

I edited the wnnt.sif file and added the

OemPreInstall=Yes

But it does not copy any files or folders over.

What am i doing wrong

It's quite easy. The OEM folder has to be in the root and not in the i386 folder.

Then it should work.

also in ur WINNT.SIF u need to have the line

[unattended]

OemPreinstall = Yes

Already figured it out this morning

Also ScubaSteve if you read my post correctly you will note that i had already added the OEMPREINSTALL=YES.
