Screwz Luse Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 Alright, well, I've just upgraded my computer's hardware and am now running Windows 64-bit. I'm trying to create an unattended CD but when booting from VMWare, it says that the OS cannot install on a 32-bit environment. I thought VMWare 5 supported 64-bit emulation. I'm curious, does VirtualPC or anything else support 64-bit for testing or am I missing something in VMWare?
Alanoll Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 VMware supports 64bit as a HOST os. No VM that i'm aware of supports a 64bit GUEST os yet.
Screwz Luse Posted July 1, 2005 Author Posted July 1, 2005 Ah, that's disappointing. Hopefully someone will roll that feature out sometime. It's hard to test out the cd without it. I don't have a spare comp running an x64 cpu. heh....
