oviradoi Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 I have a P3 650 MHz, 512 RAM, and a maxtor 21 GB HDD (don't know what model).DMA doesn't work in Windows. In Device manager, in the primary IDE controller,i have chose in the combo box DMA if available, but it still indicates PIO mode. The problem is not from BIOS, or the IDE cables, cause using KNOPPIX linux, my DMA works. It just doesn't work under windowsPlease help
