Ap0kalipSe Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 Anyone aware of a way to prevent the ability to rip music in WMP10.I want users to be able to use WMP10 on our PCs as its a lot nicer than previous offerings, however some keep ripping disks to their home folders/hdds! Rather than slap them with corporate policy I just want to disable the option altogether.

DigeratiPrime Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 (edited) I would look through here in the registry maybe something in here:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaPlayerAlso I think that BTS WMP10 Slipstream doesnt support the rip feature. Edited August 7, 2005 by DigeratiPrime
