IMAP server for Windows XP?

is there an IMAP server available for Windows XP? Here is what I want to do:

I want to take my outlook folders that receive POP3 email and make it a IMAP server so that I can get my email anywhere with local mail being stored on the server. Or am I doing the wrong thing?
