im trying to make an unattended windows xp cd and i want to add my software into it but the guied says i need an $oem$ folder in the xp boot cdwhich i dont have?

Hi there,

hakeem5454, below is a very short instruction on how to use the $OEM$ folders. If you want to know more, read the unattended guide - it's worth reading it...

1.) Create a folder called $OEM$ in the same level as your i386 folder is

2.) In this folder create a Folder called "$$" - all inside this folder will be copied to der %SystemRoot% Directory (e.g. C:\WINDOWS)

3.) If you need it, create a "$1" folder - all inside this folder will be copied to %SystemDrive% (e.g. C:\)

4.) In your winnt.sif File, add the following option to the [unattended] Section:

OemPreinstall="YES"

Done.
